Professor Clark teaches the second semester of ARCH 115, History of Architecture I.
Professor Clark is an internationally recognized scholar of Gothic architecture and art. He has published three books and numerous articles in the leading scholarly journals in the field, including Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, The Art Bulletin, Annales, Gesta, and Scientific American. Clark regularly speaks at scholarly conferences and symposia in North America and Europe. His recent research focuses on various topics in medieval architecture and art, including the Cathedral at Reims, the Nun's church on Montmartre and queenly patronage, the drawings of Villard de Honnecourt, the Royal Abbey Church of Saint-Denis and Notre-Dame de Paris.
