CHURCH OF THE YEAR 2000

The original concept of the church was the ecclesia, the community of Christ. The church did not require a prescribed space to proclaim the faith; people were its architecture. It was only in the course of centuries that church structures became surrogate heavens. The pilgrimage and its church occupy a special place in the history of the development of ecclesiastical place.
