Professor Chomowicz teaches ARCH 154, Professional Practice.

Professor Chomowicz is an architect, with a practice specializing in writing construction document specifications and Building Code analysis. Recent projects include analysis of compliance with the 1997 Uniform Building Code for the United States Embassies in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo, and perimeter security upgrade programs for the same three embassies. Construction document specifications include the three United States Scandinavian embassies and a major addition the US Embassy in Minsk, Belarus. Other construction document specifications work include: the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Theater Complex; Whitman College and Washington State University in Washington; Forum For Contemporary Art, St. Louis Missouri; Bio-medical research center, Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago Illinois; New Pharmacy-Biology laboratory and classroom, University of Connecticut; and several high rise housing projects in New York City including the Astor Place Condominium across the street from The Cooper Union.
